Wellington

On Sunday my family visited Wellington on a bus for a holiday. When we got to the bus stop we waited for the bus just for a little while and then we had to say good - bye at 8:45 pm. I wore my black warm jacket and felt as snug as a bug in a rug. But on the way to Wellington we got to have some breaks and we were talking  to each other on the bus. 'Would you like some chocolate?" smiled Aunty.  Later and we fell asleep with the rocking of the bus as it followed the winding grey road. Finally, we got to Wellington in the end after “!0  loooooong hours”!

At the time we were in Wellington we jumped into a taxi and drove to this place to rent a car for two days. We chose a shiny golden one with brown leather seats. After that we arrived at our cabin got into our normal clothes and ate toast and coco pops. I can still taste the creamy sweet chocolate flavour. Then finally Janice and Taumaia my two little aunties both ten along  with me went to play on the pillow. It was a big bouncy giant object we call the pillow which deflates by sundown. We played on it all day.  We had a barbecue. I enjoyed the spicy chicken best of all.  After an exciting day we went to bed.

Hands

At Glenbrae School we have revisited our School Treaty and as part of this exercise all classes are working on 'a book about hands'. We are looking at positive ways in which hands can be used. The Fallen Star

The full moon shone brightly in the night summer sky,stars twinkled  like a million fairy lights  Marisa Rocky and Alex were looking at the night sky at midnight in Samoa at the Lake until they saw shooting star was coming pass straight...straight to the ground.

When the shooting star hit earth the whole realm shook  so the three friends went to look for the star so Alex the young wizard from

Thunder Strike was sensing where the star fell with her weird but cool powers so she said “I can feel the power of the special star near Marisa’s house”. The kind of girl that’s like a reasonable lawyer and her parents had a lot of $money

Soon they visited Marisa’s house and found the star at the back of her house a very blue star.It was a very large star but it didn’t matter to Alex. It was as big as a hot air balloon on a summers day.

Later Alex used her powers to lift the star gently or if they squeezed it too hard the star will  turn to dust  so they took it to Rocky‘s place to do some tests and science stuff  on it since she was the smart weird one.

After the tests she told the other two that stars turn blue  when they’re sad and they shine really white and bright when they’re happy. but when they’re angry they turn red, so they found out stars have feelings but at the moment every star was blue since they can’t shine bright white unless every star was together like  a family.  So Alex sent the star back with her powers and as soon as the star returned back to the other stars they were shining so bright as if the friends were up high in heaven.

Then the  stars were safe in the sky and people were safe on earth as long as stars stayed up in the sky shining bright.

Life Caravan

On Wednesday Room 7 walked down to the life caravan to talk about what's happening inside our bodies and how to keep our body healthy.When we got to the life caravan we met a lady named Jenny our teacher in the life caravan.

straight away we got one body part and got into groups and talked about the body part like who is the reporter and who is the surgeon.In my group I had Eseki Fotupule Keti and me.Our body part was the  Stomach the part of the body that digests the food but if you eat to much your Stomach will expand and stretch and to keep it healthy eat  fruits and vegetables.

After talking about the parts of our body inside we watched a movie about making decisions. 

The movie started with a girl named Anna playing netball with her friends at school,she was really good at netball.After the game Anna's friends wanted to go to the skate park but Anna had to listen to her parents and go to see her sister but her friend were pressuring her to come to the skate park ad saying put downs so Anna had a little think and disobeyed her parents.

When they got to the skate park her friends were smoking and acting like it was cool.Next Anna's friends told her to try a smoke.But Anna's mind was saying no but her friends are saying to do it.She ended up taking it.Then they got in trouble by the teacher.So they went home to get dressed for the Disco tonight.When Anna arrived she brought a packet of smoke with her and she showed her friends.One of her friends said"Come lets go at the back cause we won't get caught".So they went through to the back and started smoking but when this boy came to the back and saw her smoking he looked angry and surprised kind of so later she went inside ad sat down. Suddenly the boy came and sat next to her and told her he bad things about smoking and how his grandpa died from lung cancer.
After that she was wondering why she started smoking she didn't even like it.
Then two of her friends came back in and asked her to come outside and have a smoke but she said "no" then one f her friends joined her but her other friend said that she not friends with them any more and went outside alone upset looking at how much fun the others were having.
Later we were finished and went back to our class.
I learnt that you shouldn't do the wrong thing just because your friend told you to.
